Janet E. Sherid Theory and Driving School LLC has been offering driving school education for residents of Westmoreland County. I have been involved in driver education for over 20 years and have introduced several driver theory programs to various local communities.

I offer driver education both “On The Road” as well as Theory Classroom Instruction, so I can better prepare new drivers to the hazards confronting them on today's roadways. I am licensed by the Department of Education.

Driving Course - Greensburg, PA - Janet E Sherid Theory and Driving School

On the Road Course:

Private road instruction
Rural, highway, merging, lane changing, intersection awareness
Parking: parallel, perpendicular, diagonal/angle
City driving: awareness of crosswalks, traffic signals, special pavement markings
Turnabouts: 3-point, 2-point, and U-turns
Road exam preparation
*Certificate issued at completion of course for insurance discount

Theory Classroom Instruction/ 30-Hour Course:

Basic driving skills
Alcohol and drugs
Vehicle maintenance
Vehicle and personal safety
Driving laws
Inclement weather conditions
